The community garden is where Statia farmers collectively and individually use plots for gardening. A community garden entrance should evoke a welcoming and inviting feeling. It is our hope to create a space where the community, especially our schools can visit. This project is to beautify the entrance of the community garden, by rebuilding a gate to secure the area and keep the animals from coming in and damaging the farmers crops. Also adding a sign to promote and to identify the community garden, which serves as an informative tool.
