St. Eustatius Seventh-day Adventist Primary School
This do-it-yourself (DIY) project aims to refresh and revitalize the learning environment at the St. Eustatius Seventh-day Adventist Primary School by repainting outdoor murals and playground games. Over time, the existing artwork and painted play areas have faded due to weather and regular use. This initiative will restore their color, vibrancy, and educational value while creating a more engaging space for students.
The project will involve volunteers, staff, parents, and community members working together to clean surfaces, apply fresh paint, and redesign or restore murals and game markings such as hopscotch, number grids, and interactive learning paths. Bright, child-friendly colors and creative designs will be used to inspire imagination, encourage physical activity, and support learning through play.
In addition to improving the school’s appearance, this project promotes community involvement and ownership. Participants will collaborate, share ideas, and contribute their time and skills to create a welcoming and stimulating environment for the children.
By the end of the project, the school grounds will feature renewed murals that reflect positive values and culture, along with clearly marked, colorful games that enhance both recreation and education. This initiative
